Joyce Marie Interiors

This new home, designed by architect Matt Fajkus, combines materials that are both rustic and refined in order to walk a fine line between contemporary architecture and the farmhouse vernacular.  As the interior designer, I worked with the client to select exterior and interior paint colors, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, flooring, tile and virtually all interior surfaces.  The result is an interior that is clean in design, allowing details to appear like artwork against the serene backdrop.  Reclaimed wood, salvaged from a home originally built on the site was integrated into the design both in the powder room and as a feature wall in the lower level.  It was also used for custom built sliding barn doors.
